# Quickstart Advanced

Advanced gives you full control over your strategy. You choose your automations, set your own risk level, and see the details of every position before you open it. Switch to **Advanced** in the [toggle](https://app.renzofinance.com/?view=advanced) at the top right to get started.

**1. Choose a strategy**\
The **Strategies** page lists every available basis strategy with the data you need to compare them:

* **30D Avg APR**: the average yield over the last 30 days.
* **Hourly**: the current hourly funding rate.
* **24H Volume**: recent trading activity for the market.
* **Your Position**: your current balance and earnings in that strategy, if you have one.

Click **Deposit** on the strategy you want to open.

**2. Configure your automations**\
Automations help manage risk and keep your strategy on track. Set each one to **Auto** to have it act when its conditions are met, or **Manual** to manage that part of the position yourself.

* **Hedge guard**: sells any unhedged spot if your short is reduced or closed, so you're never left with unintended long exposure.
* **Yield guard**: exits the position if funding is net negative over a window you choose (in hours or days).
* **Safety buffer**: shrinks both sides of the position when the price gets within 10% of liquidation, restoring your safety margin.

You'll also choose what happens when your **trading key** expires. The key lasts 90 days; if you don't renew it in time, the recommended setting closes the position and returns the remaining USDC to your balance.

**3. Set your risk level**\
Choose from three presets: **Conservative**, **Balanced**, or **Aggressive**. Each preset sets a leverage level, and the exact leverage varies by strategy, so check the options shown for the one you've picked. Higher leverage puts more of your capital to work, which can increase your yield, but it also moves your liquidation price closer. The Position Overview panel shows your estimated APR, liquidation price, and distance to liquidation as you adjust.

**4. Enter your amount**\
Enter how much USDC to deploy, use the slider, or click MAX. Each strategy shows its minimum amount. If you don't have enough USDC in your HyperCore account, use Bridge or Swap under Add Funds to bring it in from other chains.

**5. Execute**\
Click Execute Strategy

#### Managing your position

Active strategies are marked **Active** in the Strategies list, along with your position value and earnings. Click **Manage** to adjust or withdraw, or view all your positions from the **Portfolio** page.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.renzofinance.com/get-started/quickstart-advanced.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
